A remarkable product!
I’m an AVCN Engineer (Audio Video Control Network) specializing in designing, installing, commissioning and troubleshooting large integration projects. I’ve worked on (almost) every major theme park installation in the last 25 years.
In my job, I need the ability to manipulate Video, and to be able to tell what’s really going on with video — I don’t have time to waste (does anyone?), and I have to make things work perfectly.
For video, DIVA is that solution.
HD Fury’s products over the years have been the very best at what they do — exceptional features, astoundingly low prices, and excellent, well-made, quality products. I’ve used HD Fury’s products to quickly fix issues that were ‘impossible to fix’ for others, and every single HD Fury product I’ve ever installed is *still* working perfectly. I can’t say that about any other device I’ve ever used, period.
DIVA is no exception; it’s feature-packed, easy to use, *very* well made, and frankly, it’s just fun to use. To put the capabilities of this compact device in perspective, with DIVA and one of my portable monitors with a 4K native panel (which has a built-in WFM/Vectorscope, and transcodes from SDI to HDMI), I can do about 95% of what would otherwise require equipment in the ten-thousand-dollar range, and can actually do a few other tricks with video that I can’t easily do with any other device. Oh, and it’s smaller, lighter, and more durable than the other devices I would ordinarily use.
I’m impressed. I’m delighted. The only problem I’m going to have is that now, I want DIVA for my home; I want the LED feature. It’s really cool. Yes, I am a total nerd.
I’m going to have to get another one. Frankly, I’m going to buy more for the rest of my engineering team around the world. There’s just nothing like it at this price point.
Next? MAESTRO. I can’t wait!
Very Highly Recommended!

As a test of the HDR to SDR conversion, I sent 1080P SDR using STM Profie 3 to my 4K LG B7A. I had to double-check that the LG was indeed in SDR picture mode as the picture looked so much like HDR.

Here’s some feedback about the ambient light coming from someone who had been using a DreamScreen. First off, the color accuracy with Diva is 1000x better. It’s been good with whatever I throw at it. The DS was always more washed out to white and and blue unless the screen was a solid color. It also always had trouble with HDR

The DIVA is a crazy beast. It solved every issue I have had so far and the ambient light is stunning. The support and updates is superior . I highly recommend this over every other Ambilight solution I have seen and testet so far.

Heck of device
This switch / matrix does pretty much everything you would want, and a lot, lot more. Even better, it’ll tone map HDR10/LLDV to 1080P SDR. Perfect for streaming or capturing, but not forgoing the HDR experience. HD Fury also recently released an App, so no need to use the webserver!
I had an issue with a bad solder or circuit on the bottom strand of my Ambilight, and the service to fix that issue was beyond exceptional. Very fast turnaround on the RMA and everything is working flawless now.
